The center piece of this necklace is the rose cut, blue flash labradorite, heart cut 15x30mm gemstone. Custom cut for L&K, this heart shape stone is set in a hand cast bronze setting. The wrap around detailing creates the wall for the setting while also creating the bale at its top edge. It has a shadow box setting, hand painted on the inside of the setting giving it depth. It is accented with bronze granulations and suspended off of the bar bell, brass, chain that is emulated in the pendant. Set at 19" and finished with a 27mm clasp, for ease of use, this necklace features a two inch, two step extension allowing it to drop from 18", to 19" and finally 20". Finished with the brand, iconic lock charm.
This necklace is inspired by Queen Consort to France, during the Renaissance, and all around bad ass Catherine de Medici.
